rebuilding Sonor Signature snare HLD

Loading...

Greets,

Main question : is my mission impossible, please ? (i Just hope you help me)

i've just bought a sonor Sig shell (a naked hld).

& i have to search for all sonor parts & accessories to rebuid it ...

So, the missing parts are :

the sonor signature badge,

the complete parallel strainer (!) ,

20 lugs + gaskets + screws,

2 sonor hella die cast hoops (14\" 10 holes ones, bottom with long wide gate).

if you already have parts of it, or any contacts , links , i would be sooo sooo grateful...

Many many thanks for your help !

Best regards,

Chris

Have you tried the sonor museum? Lugs and even hoops will be pretty easy to find but the parallel strainer is next to impossible to find. Badges are hard to come by too.

Good luck with your search, you might be better off finding a beat up old snare and swapping out the parts. BTW what kind of shell is it?

Gary.

Another thing you might want to do is read sonormuseum member Henk`s restoration of one. It`s very well photo documented and covers everything from the rods to the springs in the throw in the fix it section. The final result was better than when SONOR shipped it out.

Just in case you end up and prolly will, buying that strainer piece by piece.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!
