Ralph Kester Ching Ring

From mendozart

I like it alot. I don't have an original to compare it to, but it does the job just fine, especially for the amount of $ I paid for it.;)

Thanks for the "heads-up" on this. I tried one of the RhythmTech models and, frankly, found it worthless. I don't seem to be able to bid high enough to get a Ralph Kester on ebay so I have ordered the reproduction you suggested. I'll let you know how I like it.

We obviously have to keep in mind of the condition. Although $50 is inexpensive for an all original "ching ring", check out the condition of this in the listing. It looks like it's beyond even being able to be cleaned. Check out the pics of VM2000's "ching ring" and you will see what they originally looked like. To me, condition of anything drum related for what I enjoy collecting is everything.

I just purchased one of these. It says Ching Ring and has Ralph Kester name on it. It's missing the patent number. Do you know if these were made prior to the patent? I'm curious if mine if an original?
