If the seller is the guy I think it is, no wonder. Saw a video from a guy on Youtube working on a Vintage Slingerland snare. Took a drill to all the rods to remove them, everything he did was an absolute no no. Heavy steel wool, the works.

No badge?

Is it just me, or is that butt plate out of line with the bottom hoop?

geckobeats - I'll have to find it. I happened across it by accident while looking up a Slingerland Model that someone posted here inquiring about. I got a minute or so into the video and just had to turn it off,lol

Saw that drum, as I've got the same one, wearing a "Musketeer" badge. Barth-Feinberg were musical instrument importers, located in New York City, from 1939 through much of the 1960's. My drum is all original, right down to the heads and wires. Still need to do a complete detailing. Got it for $25 plus shipping. It's a cool drum!
