"New" vintage shells?

Loading...

Anyone hear of or have dealt with this company in Denver, Co.?

http://www.briechlecustomdrums.com/index.html

They advertise that they can build "new" shells to "vintage" specs...

Just wondering... it may be a necessary option at times...

Bill - From the looks of the website, I think it's a start-up company. I never heard of them before so I can't help you out. The shells look awesome though. Any idea what their pricing is? Looks to be a -very expensive- proposition.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

John,

They've got some eBay listings... and yes, to me they seem a little high. But, there have been times when someone has been looking for something for a long, long, time. A 'genuine' reproduction might work out...

Bill there are plenty of drum builders out there who can build a new shell to "old" specs....

Ghostnote is full of them...

You don't need to apologize to me... I didn't make it, nor will I ever own one... you went with "horrible and crappy".. I went with "interesting" :)

Chicago Drum & Restoration also offers an exact "Niles" style shell in either a 3-Ply or 5-Ply shell configuration. In fact they are making "new" vintage drums. "What's old is new again".
