"Made in Taiwan" Rogers drum kit

Hello all, I just signed up and I'm looking for advice.

First of all, I am a guitar/bass player that wants to start on the drums. I found a craigslist add for a "vintage 1970s Rogers drum kit made in Taiwan". My question is: does this seem like legitimate drum kit or just a knock-off that isn't worth the money. The kid comes with "22 and three quarter bass drum" floor tom, two rack toms, a cymbal and hi hats.

In the early 70's the import Rogers drums were made by Yamaha and were excellent drums. The later ones, not so great. Then there are "Island Music" Rogers drums, which are a whole other story-made in Taiwan to look like Big R Rogers but made in Taiwan.
