The 60's A cymbal I posted about before has me puzzled. Since it's a 16" I assumed when I bought it that it would be a crash, you may remember I mentioned the pawn shop had it marked as a "ride" cymbal.

After playing it a bunch now, I have to admit it sounds great as a ride... and okay as a crash. It actually is a much better ride than a crash to my ears.

Was Zildjian making 16" rides in the 60's? I guess I'm thinking it must be a crash/ride.
