Punk Rock Drumming!

Loading...

Lets see what you guys have recorded. I played in A LOT of punk bands. Here are a few tracks for the last one I played for.

White Roses is probably the best you will ever hear out of me for punk rock drumming. I did two takes for that one. Recording all these songs was a smoke session!

I am not in the current line up but they give me (Manny Parial) credits. I am going to try to dig up videos from my band in Germany also.

Although my punk band is not my main band or even my music as much as it used to be, I still play with them here and there. Were opening for guttermouth on the 16th. so i'll see if i can get a quick video then..

That was a Gretsch concert tom kit, something like an 8-piece if I remember right - I got "the drum doctor" to make a deep snare out of the 14" tom, put edges and casings on the bottom of the 13" tom. I kept the little concert toms for a while, but eventually sold everything that wasn't part of the basic 4-piece. I love how they sound in that clip.

Manny I forgot to post I listened to your stuff nicely done sir!

That was actually quite horrible and I mean that in a horribly good punk way. I mean isn't that the point of punk? To be as bad as you can be, but still sound good?

This is fun! Aug '91. Some foul language at the start.
