For what it's worth to you.my advice for removing glue residue is always the same.....forget all the chemicals and use heat from a painters heat gun. Once the glue begins to soften use a giant rubber eraser that you can buy at a tool store to rub it off. They are used to clean belt sanders from gumming up and prolongs the life of sandpaper. Costs about $8.00. Also, regrettably I have to tell you that Rock Miracle mix it yourself hole filler will definitely eventually fail on you. Better to use two part Bondo auto filler from an auto parts store instead. I have ruined a few shells over the years doing all the research for you that you will ever need. But my work has improved by leaps and bounds and it's faster and cleaner too. Also, your kidneys and liver will thank you in the end. Hope this helps.
