Thanks - that was my thinking too - black with silver sparkle inlay. Was it the same on the inside and the outside of the hoop?

There is only one inlay groove in the outside of the hoops.

Finally today, after one hell of a wait, the Weld On 16 acrylic cement arrived and I can now fix the bass drum's seam, the final outstanding part of this restoration (excl the hoops which I will have airbrushed) - hopefully, if all goes well, the kit will be finished by the weekend - will certainly post pics :-)
