Looking good bro! I'm working on a set of clubbies myself. I used some old calfskin heads I had laying around on the reso side of the toms. I'll let you know how that works out. Using the modern 'vintage' heads sounds like a good idea. Let me know what you think of the sound of the drums with those heads on them. If the calf heads on mine start to become a problem because of contraction and expansion, I may try a set of the modern versions.
