Premier Royale

Loading...

Hi,

Does anyone know what the 80's Premier Royale shells were made of? I know they weren't top of the line but if they are decent quality I'd be happy. I have a chance to get a set with two bass drums, two mounted toms and a floor tom for $100. They look to be a black wrap and in good shape. Please give me any thoughts you guys have.

Thanks,

DoubleJ

More than likely they're mahogony (Luan), maple, eucalyptus combination shell. Sounds like a good deal for all that. I'd buy them!

Yes, look for the thicker dark ply in the middle, that will confirm eucalyptus.
