Premier "C" stick size?

Hey everyone,

Carl Palmer and Keith Moon used 'Premier "C" sticks' back in the 70's.

Does someone know what length and diameter these were, and from which wood they were made?

Wow its been years since I played with a pair of those. As I'm from the UK and I started learning Drums in the mid 70's as a child I was practically raised using them. Hmmmm, I know they were made of Hickory, and if my memory serves me correct they were very similar to todays Vic Firth 5A.

The old Premier "E" was a super thin Jazz stick, they were very cool sticks.

Not sure if you will see this as your post was some time ago, but it caught my eye when you mentioned Keith Moon and his sticks. My uncle worked for a trucking company in the US called Clark Transfer, that took The Who on tour for their last real tour and he gave me two pair of Premier "C" sticks and told me they belonged to Keith Moon. This was back in the '70's. I don't have any way to validate it otherwise but you mentioning that these were his sticks of choice brought back the memories and somewhat validates it for me. Wish I knew what they were worth.

Thanks!
