Premier Elite with offset lugs??

Loading...

Hi

I picked up a beautiful old 70s Premier that looks like it's been heavily restored. For a start the Tom lugs are offset single ply the sort usually found on concert toms from that era. The Tom is 13" and Premier introduced them in 73 I think, and it's Made from mahogany. The kit is finished with a lacquer, which suggests to me that a wrap was removed and the kit was later refurbished to a non original finish.

The kit is 24, 16, 13 and sounds lovely.

The toms sound like converted concert toms, the kits were available in natural wood (lacquer finish)
