Here's another one I did sometime ago. Enjoy!

Hi guys. A couple of weeks ago I sold my pre 1967 premier bop set in white marine pearl. Someone made me an offer that I just couldn't refuse.

The 1964 Sonor will also be going (sooner or later) to a student of mine that keeps saying that he wants to buy them.

He's one of my best students and he's still very young and although I've had a few offers from other people I will sell them to him. That way I'll be sure that these drums went to someone who really cares about them. I've also sold most of my cymbals except the most prized old ks. But even those (some that I don't use so much) I'm preparing in my mind to sell some day.
The drum room feels a bit empty now! I have some Premier orphans and lots of vintage parts and yesterday I managed to find a 18" premier floor tom shell so I guess I'll start another project.
As my orphans are completely mismatched; one is already stripped and the other has the wrap in very poor condition, I'll do a complete rewrap this time. It has to be a period correct wrap though and something that is still available today.
I remembered JP Premier snare in red glitter/sparkle.

So I went to look at some wrap leftovers that I had. Here's Red Spkl on the left and Red Glitter on the right.

The modern glitter is closer to the old stuff than sparkle so Red Glitter it is!
Already started cleaning some 12" tom parts.

Let's see how long this project takes!
