I found a set of practice "heads" and have been using them.My question albeit dumb,,am I suppose to tighten the snare head to duplicate the practice head? After the car wreck I lost some mobility to both hands. The right hand and arm recovered better than the left. The practice set I have better feel, ie, before the car wreck. Thanks,V

While you're recuperating give yourself all the help you can. A nice tight practice surface will give you more rebound... let the sticks do the work. Later as you regain strength you can soften the practice surface forcing more wrist and arm motion. Eventually you can go to pillows and really give yourself a workout. For now, let the rebound from a tight head give you an assist.
