I have three wood drums from this era. All Cleveland tags. 63, 65, 65. I am two turns above finger tight on the reso, Ambassador snare sides. And my reveal is only half viewed through the snare cut on the bottom rim. I think you are going to find this head is way over stressed, perhaps at least 4 turns over finger tight, but the bearing edge has not lost 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch. I dont believe it is cut. Get an internal close up of the vent grommet.

Thank-you sir... I will try.

I'm sure it's a re wrap. the interior look's like it was painted with grey floor/porch paint. i'm not a rogers pro i could be wrong. but i still would not roll the dice at 600$

I'm a little confused here! You state that you're sure it's a re-wrap then follow that up with your admission that you're not a Rogers pro and that you could be wrong. A bit contradictory, don't you think? DOH

The rogers interior paint is VERY close to Benny Moores Latex Porch and Floor Enamel. I redid an MIJ snare, added rerings redrilled lugs and painted the inside to look like a Powertone.Came out pretty good!

thanks's big E your mij looks great. i like it .i thought that was benny more porch paint . i'm use to seeing roger's in grey flat primer finish . i just think that the roger's snare in question, looks like fresh paint, the wrap looks new so to ME! chances are. and you dont have to be a vintage drum pro of any brand to think that
