Pitiful Supra on eBay Last viewed: 1 day ago

Looks like a prime candidate for regifting to me. Hose it off, add a pair or two of sticks, and give it to a neighborhood kid. win/win situation- It isn't scrapped, and nothing is lost if the kid uses it for a trampoline.

have a wonderful evening

I know that you guys are all right about this drum BUT, I can't help visualizing this old Supra in its glory days. If I owned this drum ( one more though and I'll be living in the shed), I wouldn't change a thing. It would go in a prominent place where I could simply look at it and ponder its past. I would clean it but, make no attempt to remove rust or dents. At one point, this drum was a thing of beauty. I wouldn't have the heart to trash it.

Thanks Gary. Will be interesting to see if it sells and for what. Would be cool if it was a .99 start with no reserve and just let it go.

I would simply replace the Tension Bolts and washers and lube the thread inserts. Replace (or maybe just Lube)the P85 throw mech and the heads and snares. Then enjoy.

I mean talk about "RUST-IC". If it's in round and sound great, why change a thing??
