The 1972 Pearl lists and shows some nice brass shell snare drums and are clearly chromed- I am unfamilar with the Supersensitive timeline. The 1975 catalog shows the Pearl Jupiter COB with the parallel strainer- is that the start of the supersensitive line? The Jupiter`s I have played are wonderful sounding but heavy as a car. Too heavy for me to cart around to a gig.

That is an early Jupiter, and if it is reasonably priced, go get it before someonme else does. Those are hard to find in complete condition.
