Pearl CZX studio

I am considering selling a Pearl CZX studio kit in Midnight Quartz with power sizes as follows- 16x22, 8x8, 10x10, 10x12, 12x14 and 14x16 (double tom stand for the floor racks is inclded as are the holders for the other three racks). This is a very efficient kit- what you put in is exactly what you get out volume wise. The current tuning is dark (using emperor tops and amb bottoms) but with a greal deal of bite to the sound if that makes any sense. I originally purchased them because they were one of the few thick shelled kits on the market at the time (Sonor being the other) that actually projected a defined tone from each drum at all volumes whereas the thinner shelled kits sounded muddy in the larger sizes without dampening. The only drawback is that they are very heavy and it no longer makes sense for me to lug them around for the gigs I am playing these days.

The kit is in mint condition with all original mounts and hardware with only head wear. No pitting, stick dings, scratches or abrasions except for the heads obviously.

Any interest? I don't want to get involved in shipping issues so anyone in the upstate NY or metro area would be ideal. tx

The original OP and first reply were from 2013, with each member posting only once. I doubt it is still a relevant thread!
