Oyster black pearl from Walopus looks GREAT!

A big THANK YOU to Magnus of Walopus Drum Wrap! He wrapped a 80's Ludwig Rocker snare for me in Oyster Black Pearl and did a great job. Although it doesn't match exactly the 52 year OBP rack tom and floor tom I have (which I didn't expect it to), it looks fantastic beside them.

Quick professional service with a quality product plus I am able to support a fellow VDF member.

For me, it is a great alternative to the real thing which I'm afraid I will never afford to purchase; it looks great with the black/white Ludwig badge.

I still have some clean-up on the chrome but wanted to share with the Forum in case others are looking to do the same.

These Rocker snares sound great!

I think that's the lighting. I don't see any purple in the actual product.

I stand corrected! After the OP also mentioned seeing purple, I took another look under some different lighting and there is indeed some subtle purple tones as well as a couple of shades of blue I hadn't noticed before.

I like it personally but we can adjust the color tones if required.
