That's one of those "handle-with-cotton-gloves-only" museum pieces. I've never seen one cleaner. Even though it appears from the pic that the snare frame is not mounted, I assume you have it. I own Dynasonic 55818. These are just about the last of the oval badge Dyna's before the Big R's. Thanks for sharing that shiny beauty.

Really handsome drum....I had one when I was too young to know how to get it set up properly. Too bad. I used to hate the feel of the stick response with it....again, I didn't know how to set it up. Then I played my friend's Supra and that was it....I couldn't get the Supra to sound or feel bad no matter what I did, so I fell in love with it. I never looked back. But I might have loved my Dyna, too....if only. I always loved the way they look in any case!
