Wow, wish I could be there. They were the first concert I ever went to back in the early to mid 70's at Madison Sq Garden. Saw them 5 times after that. Neal has a new band now, tried to get the organizers of the CT Drum show to have him appear as he lives in CT. Enjoy and post some pics please.

You brought back some memories of the early '70s. I was at that Madison Square Garden show, and also saw them at Boston Gardens and the New Haven Coliseum (a clean-shaven cowboy band called ZZ Top was the opening band at that show).
I think it would be a big coup to get Neil to the CT Drum show, but that might be hard to do as he's now a big, high-end Realtor down in Greenwich. At least he's one rock star who really knew how to invest his money.

First band I ever saw, too! One of the older high school kids had to go with me to "chaperone"!
I think Neil was playing a chrome Leedy/Ludwig kit that night. Great memories!
