I made these little zipper bags several years ago. They are made out of clear plastic. Not sure what gauge the plastic is, but it is the same clear plastic we used to make clear plastic seat covers out of back in the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. Remember the bumpy clear plastic seat covers? lol The technical term for that clear plastic was "air lift" this is smooth clear plastic, the kind that would burn your butt in the summer and freeze your a$$ in the winter. I made these pouches, patterned of off a typical bank bag, most of them have 2 compartments to store different types of parts in them. The clear plastic vinyl lets you see what's in the bag, and is a million times stronger than a ziploc. They have really came in handy over the years. I do have various sizes of ziplocs also i use for restoration purpouses. You can get small ziplocks at any good craft store, usually in the bead dept.
