The logo on the drum head is the same logo used on the orange amps, so there must be some connection, even if they were not made by the same folks.

Going through my catalog, I also found a business card from ProMark - next to it in pen it says US Importer.
Just finishing up the scans now.

The only connection at the time was the importer, not the manufacturer. They were seperate entities altogether.
