You do remember correctly, but there's more to the name of the company that made that hardware: Jaques Capelle, and I believe they might have gone by just "Capelle" too. They were the company that had the "Orange" line of hardware. I think that a quick check on the search engine of your choice might be in order here! I do think they may be OOB though... but that said... eBay might yield results!

Well, the best bet is to keep checking French Ebay here is link then search "pied hi-hat" (that will search for hihat stands. I tried and there are no Orange brand stands there right now.

I have two of the Orange/Capelle hi-hat stands, one complete and the other is missing something(I can't remember what) Chrome is not the best on either. I played one during the 70's, 80's and into the 90's until I got my DW stand. Best and smoothest during that time. Are you interested in buying them? If so I can take a picture of them so you can see them. They are not mint by any means.

My name is Serge, I live "DownUnder" (Melbourne!) and I am new to the forum.

I accidentally came across the discussion re. Capelle hardware via a Google search.

I have a Capelle hihat stand model PA325 in mint condition, which I bought

new in 1981 - along with a set of Zyldjan cymbals.

We moved to Australia soon after, and the gear has been in storage ever since. The hihat is “as new condition”. No rust, no marks.

Can anyone assist in a quick estimate of its value? There is currently nothing like that for sale on Ebay .
