Doing well thanks. I am still looking for a 16x16 RK floor tom that was originally painted and never wrapped. I'll post some pics of my RKs soon.

I just ran accross this thread and it is fascinating. Its pretty close to another thread that is going at this time. I have a 61 BDP kit that needed a bass drum. I aquired one that had been spray painted black. There was this thread going about 3m's safest stripper, so i decided to make this drum a guinea pig and experiment. Long story short. I got all the paint off succesfully to a beautiful WMP. I still have it and bought another tom for the BDP kit. I just couldnt wrap over that beautiful finish!! On the other hand I found a kit last month that had been rewrapped and the wrap was splitting everywhere, but the 3 ply shells were in amazing shape. Im in the process of rewraping them. A few yrs ago I bought a slingerwig snare off ebay. Slingerland snare with ludwig badge and leapord print contact paper. The original finish was natural mahogany, so I restored it original. I also aquired a marching snare with a drum kit I bought. the drum had been painted green with yellow pokadots. I rerwaped it in red sparkle and polished all the nickle lugs etc......
its all fun to me and I love doing it!!!!
