Don't tell my wife!
Get out the drill bit dum key and get after it son!!!
I worked my ass off refinishing the wood hoops for the Bd on my almost finished restoration. I sanded, primed, sanded, painted, sanded, painted. I let the paint dry to 24 hrs. taped off to keep from getting glue on my new paint. Peeled the tape off and.................
A bunch of paint came off with the tape! I was sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your not alone my brother! I think we should be going to D.A.
Drums Anonymous! 12 step program.
step 1 came to realize we are powerless over drums and our wives have become unmanagable
stap 2 came to believe that a new drum could'nt restore us to sanity
step 3 made a decision to turn our will and our drums over to the vintage drum forum.
Step 4 made a searching and moral inventory of our drums and cymbals.
step 5 admitted to the drum god and the forum the excact nature of our screw ups!
step 6 we were entirely ready to remove these drums we screwed up!
Step 7 humbly asked for advice to repair these screw ups!
Step 8 made a list of all the minor screw ups we didnt want to tell about!
Step 9 mended all the minor and major screw ups we hid from our forum buddies!
Step 10 continued to take drum inventory and admit it when we screw up!
Step 11 sought information from the forum to improve our restoration skills and learn to carry this out!
Step 12 Having had a spritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to pass our knowledge to other drummers and practice these principles on all our restorations!

OK man............
See you same time tomorrow.
I'll make the coffee.
Try not to screw up a drum between now and then.
If you feel like you're going to screw up a drum between now and tomorrow's meeting, reach out and call someone from Drum Foundry.
Remember it's not the last drum that gets you hooked, it's the first one.
The best thing you can do is get them all out the house!! No more hiding them in the closets!!
SEND THEM ALL TO ME!!!
HAHHA!!
Cheers,BigE
one is to many and a thousand aint enough!
