For your consideration is a very early 1958 Olympic Discus Snare drum. Pre-international size-13 ½ x 3”. It is wrapped in the original factory "Marine Pearl" which has yellowed evenly. There are no scratches and no extra holes. The original beer-tap snare strainer shows little wear and is fully functional. Both heads are natural skin and should be replaced for proper snare response and sound. Snare wires are original. The chrome hardware is almost perfect. There is one slotted tension rod missing. These early Discus models did not have badges applied.

There are almost no signs of wear. The drum needs to be cleaned and polished. This is a collector quality piece.
