Old stamp K. eye candy

Not only do they sound great, but they're beautiful to look at too. But wait a minute....something is wrong here. Who can tell what it is?

If you want to be a competent cymbal analyst, you must develop powers of observation sufficiently acute to discern between fly specs and pepper. This is a test of that.

One of the stamps have the bottom "Zildjian" upside down. A couple of years ago I had a IIb with that same "issue".

Yes, you're correct. But since this was advertised as for sale then by rights both photos should be exactly the same one but clearly it isn't. It's of the same trademark type, but it's not from the same cymbal. So why he even included it isn't clear. But I recognize that photo as one that I took of a similar cymbal that I once owned circa 2006. In fact that photo caused me look very closely at this cymbal to see if it was indeed formally mine, because they look quite similar too. But I eliminated that possibility since mine had one rivet hole drilled near the edge and this one does not.

Kojak would have a problem with this, Friday would too. Now if the real one had the hole and the yours did not,...you might avoid running into Columbo.

And if Columbo viewed that trademark while standing on his head, and he looked at it with his one good eye, then "Zildjian" would not appear to be upside down either.

Anyway Friday and Columbo are way too contemporary for me. I go back to days of "The Naked City". That's my era. How about you old timer? You remember that show?

Look's like "low boys" to me. Probably 12" or maybe a bit smaller.

On T.V.

I am a fossil. But I just don't look like it. At least that's what all the girls say.

But look it up. The lead detective looked like a bulldog.
