Late 60s/early 70s. I'd lean closer to early 70s as they have the newer style badge vs. the script logo. Love that wrap!

[COLOR="DarkRed"]Very nice call, Rob...yes, the badge changed eary '70's, and it has those Tempro-type lugs (the Tempro stencil name not appearing until early '70's as well)...

'Mate...that's a hella cool set...I mean, that is like a quintessential RARE old Japanese wrap...they get no more uncommon than that !

It's also got the heavier-duty Japanese version of the swivomatic tom arms...very, very cool !!!!

Thanks for that mate, I have'nt long sold a bunch of old Imperialstars which as you know were made of the same stuff. These Pearls are nowhere as grainy as the old Tama's the inside is quite smooth. Thanks again.

Looks like luan to me. Might be better quality luan, which would explain the smoother surface, but they sure look like luan to me. Grain running up and down, color, etc...
