I have seen some very cool kits on this forum with marching drums as toms, and snares. I have wanted to build on for a while now. I am purchasing a 10x26" slingerland from a member here as the start. It is mahogany with maple hoops. So I'm looking for some similar drums to use as toms. I would prefer complete drums so I don't have to chase down parts. I will NOT be refinishing the shells. They don't have to be in top condition, I like the wore out look actually. If you have anything please contact me, I am in no hurry for this.

I have no idea if they are still available, but this Rhode Island shop is clearing out a bunch of old stuff and is showing a triple rack of marching toms in the third picture.
I have a few tenor drums-one of which is a Slingerland 10x15 Tenor. It's in really nice shape, has the long marching lugs and is 3-ply no extra holes or modifications. Silver sparkle with a red sparkle stripe. $150
Chris Of Maine - Thank you, I'm in CT and had actually forgotten to get in touch with these guys. If I do go out there and get a van full of drums, any marching drums have your name on them Jeff.

Jeff,
I have a 14 x 10 Ludwig Keystone badge red sparkle 3 ply marching snare complete with P85 strainer in pretty good shape. It does have some pitting on chrome but nothing major.
$135 Shipped to your door.
Hey thank you guys for chiming in. What I am looking for is a mahogany shell with stain, you know that medium brown color, and with the natural maple hoops. There was a kit in a thread a while back that was really awesome, I wish I could find it.
Thank you!
