Old Ludwig Pedal

Can anyone tell me anything about this old pedal? The board is faded accept for a made in Chicago mark. I think it should be around 50 years old

That's a Ludwig & Ludwig New Speed Pedal made in the 1930's and 40's. Here is a catalog image of it:

agreed. ive got one like it as well. looks like someobdoy really liked that one to wear the foot board down that much!

Ive got two. A broken one and a refurbished one. I got the refurb from forum member bfulton. Works great! Neat little pedal.
