Last weekend I spent in Istanbul and find store with Masterwork and Istanbul Mehmet cymbals,but I found some old Turkish K,hi hat ,16 and 21 cymbals.here are a few pics.What you think about year of manufacture and value?He is asking 1100 euros for all

Hmm, that last stamp doesn't look right. The fonts are off. I'd be highly skeptical of that one, as a number of fakes have come out of Istanbul in the past few years.

Agree. The stamp on his second post does not look right to me either. I came to that decision before reading everyone's reaction so I'm glad we all agree. The lathing and hammering looks more like a modern KCon to me, although other cymbals share that style.

In the first post, the stamp on the right at first looked like what Bill used to call an older new stamp but after seeing the potentially fake stamp in the 2nd post of what I assume is a different cymbal, I'd reserve that decision until there is a better picture. The other stamp I think is a a type IIIb, but the stamp is awfully close to the edge. Hmm.

By the way, a pair of hats a 16" and a 21" for 1100 Euros seems way too cheap. Did Zildjian even make a 21"?

The j in all the stamps is the half J, Do you think a fake would have that detail ??
