Old Drumset ID help.... Last viewed: 7 hours ago

Loading...

This was my original set. I am thinking around 1968-69 or so. That may be to early as I was born in 1964, but would make sense as the pic I look around 5-7 I am guessing. I know I had this set until 1977-78 as I got a new set.

Never mind about the apparel, apparently I was between playing football and drums. Well, I chose the drums....ha ha.

Any help ID'ing these is certainly appreciated and if there are any around close to these, that would be great as I would venture to refurb them.

thanks,

Teardrop lugs, look like old Premiers! I could be wrong, wait for the jury to ring in, but they look like Premiers. Oh, and I can't I.D. him positively, but I think the guy molesting you while you're playing is your dad! :D

Welcome to the forum!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Hollywood Meazzi would be my best guess.

Nice kit.

"Coronet" badge below the vent? They did have badges separate from the vent, held on by two small nails...cool pic.

Thanks guys, certainly a step to continue my search. Yes John, that was my dad. List him in 2014. He was a drummer as well. Wish I had some photos of his drums. Or better had the drums themselves....ha ha
