I have this 15 inch cymbal that was included with some 1954 Gretsch drums.... no other cymbals in the lot.
I'm thinking it could be at least early 50s but I can't confirm it was bought new with the 54 drums.
925grams weighed on a digital food scale.
Any thoughts to the age?
IIb stamp. Made between 1949 and 1950.
I just now am thinking maybe selling this cymbal. I checked a few selling prices online and can't see my cymbal. Closest I see is a 50s K 15" paper thin for around $700.
I could put it on eBay and see what happens but I'd maybe rather just sell it.

What is reasonable to be asking for this.... keeping in mind a fair price for me AND the buyer... if I should think about selling?

I'm using it with one of my old Gretsch sets... it fits well as a Crash/Ride... mostly ride... off my hats. I like it and at this time I know if I sell it I will have some remorse haha. But hey... it's only a cymbal. I've sold 3 Gretsch sets in the past few years that I thought were keepers... I'm not losing sleep over it...
