OK, not vintage but...

I just got an order of new Ludwig parts in from Conn-Selmar for two reproduction sets I'm working on.

One of them is Ludwig's new 9.5 mm rail mount.

Has anyone seen one of these before? It's AWESOME!! (and I'm an old f*rt and almost NEVER use that word!)

It fits the vintage holes, but is much more adjustable and very much more heavy-duty.

I will NEVER hesitate to use this mount on my reproductions in the future, vs. finding and paying for and using a vintage mount (unless of course it's a custom job and that's what the customer wants!).

Sorry. Just was excited and had to share...

How's it differ from the Steve Maxwell rail mount, which Ludwig uses on Steve's vintage build out Legacy sets?

Never play it the same way once.

Here's a link to what I just got in (this is not where I got it though).

I'm not sure, but doesn't Maxwell's mount look and adjust like the vintage ones?
