Odd little cymbal thing...

Loading...

Hello again, Everyone!

This little unit was attached to the cymbal (the 18" Zildjian trans-stamp I inquired about earlier) and I have no idea who makes it or when it was made. Has anyone seen one of these and can you tell me about it? Thanks!

Rick

Yup, a drummer in a band I was in back in the 60's had a sizzler like that.

Is that one of those you can flip up, and it stays locked out of the way when you don't need it?

Yes it is. I like this build. It's very versatile. Much more so than just a chain or a dime. Cool stuff. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for all the kudos, but does anyone know anything about the possible brand? Anything? Thanks!

Definitely produced in the 60's. Maybe even before. My next door neighbor had one. As for the make, ?????? I can't remember ever seeing any manufacturers stamp on the darn thing, but I was just a kid at the time.
