Number Of Washers On Slingy T-rods Last viewed: 2 hours ago

I just picked up these t-rods and claws for my 1958 Slingerland bass drum. Does anyone happen to know whether they came with one or two washers when originally issued from the factory?

THANKS in advance for your time and your help!

Thank you, sir! Which ones came with two washers? Was it the "torpedo" style rods? Just wondering.

My mid and late 70s bass t's need two washers to clear the mech. But, my 68s and 71s only use one. The double washer was by design. It is needed.

just a suggestion...you might consider adding a nylon washer that is in contact with the trod....let the nylon wear and not the rod...the rods will start to trumpet on the end in contact with the metal washer..so you could have two one metal and one nylon if that makes sense.
