...as re-creation. These are the "new" shells for the jungle kit, all glittered up with no place to play. Well, not yet, anyway. The hardware is a mix of Star and Pearl stencil lugs and tom mount. I will keep this one updated until done. All shells are vintage MIJ mahogany, even the 10, as it is a very early Export shell, rather thin, the 13 is as well, and is not quite as thin, while the bass is a fat 9 ply.
So we have: 10x8= 4 ply mahog 13x10= 4 ply mahog, 1 ply maple, and 16x15= 9 ply mahog. These should resonate well together, and produce a nice, rich medium tone that will lend itself well to the coffeehouse scene.
I am going to post it to the local music scene through a couple a trade rags here. It shpuld sell n icely, as these are hard to come by in this [art of the world.
