Nomad Drum Cases any good?

I was looking around for some light duty cases mainly for long term storage of some of my stuff. I've got some Protection Racket bags...like them, but kinda pricey for bags. I don't want or need to spend a lot of money for real road cases. Anyone have experience with them? The price seems pretty good.

O-lugs, I am on same mission.

I found these on Amazon haven't tried them but might be ideal.

If I purchase I will let you know how they are.

I use the Nomad fiber cases for storage...I`ve have not had any issues with them...Definitely a less expensive option for protection of drums...

Cheers

Cool! Thanks@DRUM69! Those don't look too bad for the price. I'm kinda wanting to try some type of semi-hard cases, though. The Nomad cases have been around for awhile but I don't know anyone who uses them.

EDIT: Thanks grantro. I just saw your response. Thanks

I have no experience with the Nomad.

I use a mix of cases for either storage or transportation.

I have both Anvil and Calzone fiber cases for the drums which I have been pleased with. The cymbals are stored in either a Zildjian cymbal bag, a leather cymbal bag, a hard plastic cymbal case and there is room in my wood cases for the rest of the cymbal's storage that I don't normally use. I am careful handling the bags 'cause I consider them not as durable as the hard case unit.

I have four wood cases: two large for storage and two smaller for both transport and storage of the stands, cymbals and accessories.

The two rather large cases (which I personally built) most likely will only be used for storage and not transport. One is for the two bass drums and one for stands for my turquoise kit which when loaded is too heavy for me to pick up. I use wheeled dollies to move them. I also took the time to paint some of the sides of these cases with a few of my favorite images from the sixties when I was a teenager. The first four pictures I am attaching are of these larger case's artwork. These two cases with the artwork can be placed on stage for a visual effect when playing 60s oldies. One day I hope to finish all the remaining side panels, one idea is to duplicate the 'keep on truckin' guy from Zap comic by Robert Crumb.

I also have two smaller wood cases (I did not build these) that I use for stands and cymbals which I do use for normal transport and I can muscle these around when loaded in addition to using wheeled dollies. One of these can be seen on end (in use as a table for my sticks and things) in the last picture.
