So i just picked up Paiste Signature Precision crash for a very good price, and because my vintage 2002 crash is starting to show signs of usage such as flea bites, i decided it was time to pick up a new crash before this one cracks. I noticed something that i only thought was typical of their lower budget made in Germany series.. The cymbal had no serial number..

As a Paiste user for the past 24 years, i can say that i thought i knew plenty about Paiste cymbals, but have to admit that this took me by surprise. Anyone have any thoughts on why they don't have a serial number ?
