Thank-you, but all that has been done is a good cleaning.
I do like the way the wrap polished up though, and the hardware came up pretty nice too. I was really surprised, they were in a dirty garage, set up on a rug, and in a fairly damp environment. I assume they were elsewhere for most of their life, for they would have deteriorated beyond salvage where they were.

That's what make's me think I'm addicted to doing such things, too (and stresses the relationship to my misses sometimes ...Hurting)!

Yes - indeed!Yes Sir - the quality of those old STAR hardware was mainly outstanding excellent. My two STAR sets also have that chrome surface with almost none-existing chrome pitting. (I don't want to badmouth others by naming them now.;))
