Kevin, I have an Oaklawn Super 99 that is missing some parts also. I have an excellent machinist buddy willing to make the parts, but he needs specifications to do it and I cant provide that. I need a round tension knob (I think) for mine and maybe some linkage for it. Once I find pictures and get dimensions and specs I can have him make the parts. If the parts that you need are indeed the same then I can have him make them for you as well. But getting the specs might be tough. I have been playing my downbeat snare with my Camco kit and just love that drum, but it would be nice to hear the Super 99.

So lets start with this question, would the Chanute drum and Oaklawn have the same parts? I would be happy to help you out if I can. This buddy is retired, he builds street rods and is one of the best in our area. He does jobs like this for damn near nothing.

Thank you!

Yep

I think you have the parts I need, and vice versa....

I could mail you the parts you need for your guy to measure.

Maybe we can get them all done.....this is hopeful, I've been looking for six years or so .....

Well, that would work. Are you sure the parts are interchangeable? Can I take more pics for you to see what my parts look like, get a better look?

Thank you!

Kevin, does this drum take some special hard to find snare wires? Do you have a set?

Thank you!

I'm honestly not sure about interchangeability or the snare wires.

We need some more help.

I'll PM you my email so we can trade some pics.

Any help out there about these parts?

Thanks !!
