From time to time we have addressed whether the vintage drums will carry on in future generations. If this relatively young guy is representative to the reaction other may have, looks like full steam ahead. Notice his comment: "...MAN these things sound good."

I have to agree and find the sound he got out of his Luxor is great.

A Rogers Luxor snare drum is one of my all-time favorite snare drums. I currently have a 1966 Silver Sparkle Luxor.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Well, consensus is that the greatest era in music history in 1960s/70s. At least for me :)

Naturally drums from that era evoke that beloved sound.
