Thanks! Aways wanted a set of these. Doing a blues/jazz gig these days that just calls for them. Think "Is you is or is you ain't my baby" to "Cold Shot". Never seen a full set in that finish in person, just separate snares. Kinda cool. Definately vintage.

They're 13/14/22. Bass drum was cut down by the Pro Drum Shop, as alot were whne the trend went away from 26 incher's. Better for me, even if it's a mod. I'm sure it's a decent job, Bob Yaegar wouldn't have it any other way! Gonna be fun messing with them. Need clamp-on legs for the bass. Gotta figure what to about the 14. Either reasonably right brackets, maybe a basket to mount it. I've got a 14" RIMS I can use until I get the right stuff. All suggestions appreciated... Bill

Very nice! I splurged on a kit just like this in 24, 13, 14 sizes about a year ago. Been on the lookout for a snare. If I ever come across one that I'm not able to snag i'll let you know! I've never played mine though (all calfskin heads), not sure how they'd sound. Nonetheless, great buy!

I think that it has nine lugs because crash said the bass drum was professionally reduced in diameter from 26" to 22". They must have removed an entire panel, and then joined the shell back together again. I'd love to examine how they did that.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Hi all. Thanks to a tip , I just unloaded a new to me set of '40's Radio Kings. Called for a bit of a road trip, but hey, we got to go to our favorite fish house,to placate the wife and Tiki King's ukulele shop for me, so it was alright. Great shape, nice metalwork. Even got the cool bass rim clamps for the toms. Gave me hard cases with them. Kit's 13/14/22. New looking heads all around, Fiberskin batters, clear Ambos below. Couple felt strips, and I shoud be ready. No bass legs yet, gonna use 2 cowbell mounts for now! Wife's working tomorrow. Guess I'm going to have to disturb the neighborhood.....Got'em set up today. Crammed into our dining room, too much in the practice suite for them to fit! Functional, no extra holes, and nothing to buy! Sound great. Kick's ok, but it needs a head. Slingy logo head was pulling out of the hoop. Warm, thuddy. Kept falling into funky "Cissy Strut" & Stevie Wonder type grooves. Election nite gig tomorrow, think I'll take them........
