Hello, up for grabs is a late 60's Gretsch Tangerine sparkle floor tom. So if you know Gretsch you're asking why doesn't it have a round badge? Good question, I got the drum from a small studio outside of Music City USA (Nashville) and I was told that it was special ordered to go with a drum set for the studio. I have talked to a couple of folks that said they had seen Tangerine sparkle shells when they visited the Gretsch factory in the 70's, that could explain this drum. Anyway, all original, NO extra holes. The covering does have a little bit of seam lift, but it can be repaired, and there are no tears in the covering. The lug casings have been hand polished and packed by me when I got the drum. The hoops are original Gretsch die-cast, and the 3 Gretsch floor tom leg brackets work fine and are not stripped. The only issue with the drum is inside of the shell by the bearing edge is a bunch of staple marks (see photos). Someone in the studio stappled felt under each drum head to quiet it more that what the internal Gretsch mufflers would do? Your guess is as good as mine. I removed all of the staples and left over felt pieces. The drum doesn't have any floor tom legs either. I was going to build a Gretsch sparkle set with each drum a different color, but then my transfer case went out on my truck. Anyway, $400.00 starting price or make an offer, great drum that sounds wonderful, just need to pay for my truck repair. Also, the Remo heads fit on the shell fine and the bearing edges are original. I have more photos if you would like me to e-mail them to you. Thanks for looking. Clay
