Greetings from Holland, I have a lot of cymbals (about three sets) that I would dearly like to identify and classify.

They've been in storage for the last 20 years or so since I stopped playing for health reasons.

There's some Avedis Zildjian, a set K Zildjian, and my regular playing set, a complete pre split-up 1983 Zilciler set made for me in Istanbul.

I'll try and post pictures after I cleaned a bit of the muck that's been gathering on them for the last 30 years.

Don't clean up the muck. Most drummers prefer their vintage cymbals with all the original crap still on them. They pay less for old cymbals that have been cleaned.

So remember:

Don't be a schmuck, leave on the muck.
