Hello. I'm a new forum member and have an old Slingerland partial set that's been in basement storage since 1978. It was old when I got it as a gift . . . I'm thinking late 50's vintage, just a guess. Gold sparkle base, snare, mounted tom. I played on it from 1969-1977. How do I go about finding out its true age? Is there a market for such a set? Condition is fair-poor (from decades of storage), would need restoration. Thanks, Steve.
