An interesting note on 'You Can't Do That' is the bell is used in the recording (presumably overdubbed) but not live. Nevertheless, the tribute band drummers often have a bell on the left foot playing all 4 quarter notes. That would take a bit of practice given that it's tricky to play that against the bass pattern hitting on 1, 3&4.

It’s interesting that you would say that! I was recently in a 60’s tribute band and that’s exactly what I did. Plus, I sang George’s harmonies! It’s challenges like those that made it so fun.

I always appreciate watching musicians who are able to make up for aspects of original recordings that are tricky to replicate live. Glad you gave it a whirl, especially George's harmonies! Keep me away from the mic for that. singer
