Thanks guys. I'm still looking. I'll try all your suggestions, but the older style like the ones I have are really hard to find. I like the idea of taking the lugs off an trashy shell, and having only the lugs shipped. First, I've got to find the right shell. Bummer.

Looked at the sites, about $6 each plus shipping from UK. A bit steep for me at this time, and they didn't look to be in clean condition, as well. Maybe I could find an old orphan Premier floor tom just for the lugs.

I didn't tell the story of my restoration Premier drum set. So here goes. Now don't you younger guys snicker at an old drummer like me. About 40 years ago, I bought a Premier 4 piece drum set, turquoise sparkle, which I sold to a friend about a year later, and bought a Rogers set. Fast forward to 2011. My friend called me and said the Premier set wasn't playable, missing parts, and heads. He wondered if I would trade him a cheaper drum set for the old Premier, so I said, sure. But the old Premier was in shambles. The sparkle finish was faded from yellow to silver, and some heads were missing. So I recovered the drums with some black plastic, but still no heads. I finally sold the floor tom and the Royal Ace snare to two different drummers. A couple of months later the guy that bought the floor tom said he'd like to trade it back to me for some vintage hardware. So there I was with the Premier floor tom and a 12" side tom. I suddenly began looking for the first time at the striking Premier Art Deco lugs, and found I really liked them. So I re-wrapped the floor tom and the side tom in turquoise sparkle, and special ordered heads for them from Remo. All cleaned up and restored, they looked and sounded great. But now I had a problem, I'd sold the Royal Ace snare. I approached the guy that bought it, but he loved it and didn't want to sell it back. He did like my Rogers 6.5" Big R snare drum, which I'd been saving till I got a Dynasonic frame and rim. So the end of the story is I traded him the Rogers for the Premier. Now I have my old Premier set back, but I'm missing some Floor tom lugs that I want to put on a look-a-like drum to complete the set. Sorry for this long story, but I thought some of you might get a kick out of it.
